The versatile vintage race chronograph 7012 is perfect for those seeking one watch for all occasions. The case has a slimmer profile than many other models in the 6139 series, and the soft tonneau shape is comfortable and well-proportioned. This February 1971 example is a true head-turner. With a diameter of 41 mm it is not too large, but it does have a strong presence on the wrist. Above the brushed finish of the case, which runs from east to west, the polished and beveled bezel provides a sharp transition that draws attention to the dial; an almost perfectly matte-black surface with texture and a balanced color combination.
