Very beautiful interior still life in a_post-impressionist_ style, painted with a vivid and contrasted palette (blues, reds, oranges and violets). The composition features a round table, a fruit compote, and a blue chair, in an expressive interior with dynamic and impasted touches.
Authentication and documentation:
• Original certificate of authenticity issued in Paris on May 1, 1983 by Désir d’Art, art publisher and distributor, 74 avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris.
• The certificate states:
“certifies that this painting of size: 50 Figures
signed: DOBLAS ‘Nature Morte’
is original and unique.”
• Gallery stamp and handwritten signature on the certificate.
Signature: Handwritten signature “Doblas” in orange/red at the bottom left of the canvas, clearly visible.
Provenance:
The work has never been offered on the secondary market to date. It has remained in a private collection.
Condition: Very good overall condition. Vivid colors well preserved. Healthy surface with no major cracks visible. Original black wooden frame with a gilt filet in good condition.
