Louis XVI-style bedside table in fruitwood, marble and brass, two drawers, 20th century

Small occasional table or Louis XVI-style bedside table, in stained fruitwood, with a veined marble top encircled by an openwork brass gallery. The front features two drawers with a brass-molded frame and round brass pull handles; the drawer fronts are in a heavier veneer, creating contrast with the body of the piece. Chamfered, fluted uprights, resting on four tapered, fluted feet, ending in brass feet caps.
Probably from the second half of the 20th century, in the taste of the 18th century.

Dimensions: H 68 cm x L 27 cm x D 31 cm

Condition: The marks visible on the marble correspond to the natural veining of the stone, with no chips. The white marks on the wood are remnants of cleaning paste (Miror); they will be cleaned.
