Lamp - Cast brass - Florentine lantern

Florentine four-light lantern with a telescopic stem. The origin of the lamp dates to the late nineteenth century. The central cup still preserves the fibers for lighting oil lamps. Subsequently it was electrified; the work, as seen in the photos, dates to the first half of the twentieth century. From the chains hang the classic tools: a candle snuffer, a pair of tweezers, and a needle; the tools were used for the maintenance of oil lamps. Brass structure with an iron core. With a hook to transport and hang. One lamp holder is slightly damaged but it is original. A piece of unique design. Some wiring work is needed for rewiring.
