Figure - Madonna met Kind - 50 cm - Wood

Beautiful piece of folk art. From a chapel? A little church? Or an old farm? Probably made in Tyrol / Central Europe. Given the use of the bark, as a mantle. A large K is carved on the back. There are woodworm holes in it, here and there. The woodworm is gone.... See photos, also with explanations.

It is a substantial piece, about 50 cm tall.
