Description
This is a complete egg cup stand for six people. It was manufactured by the KHC workshop (Khecheong) as export silver. An artfully designed stand with six integrated ring holders for the cups and a sturdy, arched carrying bail in the middle. The egg cups are six perfectly fitting, throne-like on fine footed bases. All inner surfaces are gilded. The engraving is on the central carrying bail – a standing horse over a noble/rank crown. On the supporting elements, clearly stamped with the master mark “KHC” in a rectangle and the engraving. In a X-ray analysis, a silver content of 835 was confirmed.
