Display case - Wood, Glass - Bar Showcase

Beautiful display cabinet, also usable as a bar cabinet, Italy, 1940s, in full Art Deco style, solid wood construction in various timbers (no veneer) on the top surface and on the base; the lighter-toned section features a ribbed finish. Glass on three sides, the front with two doors containing internal compartments, below a single drawer. Inside, the back panel is mirrored glass and there are two glass shelves. Details in brass and Bakelite. Good condition, normal signs of age and use; note a small chip on the rear of one of the two shelves, a few old wood-boring holes that have already been treated. (No current borers.) Wax-polished just now.
