Ella Suárez's original contemporary acrylic painting Mariposa axial - XL (no reserve), 100 × 80 cm, 2026, hand-signed on the back with title and year, supplied with a COA, created in Spain and depicting nature, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Axial butterfly
Unique piece
In this work, Ella Suárez addresses the butterfly as an organized structure around a central axis. Far from a descriptive representation, the painting proposes an approach where the form unfolds as a field of study: a system of relations between symmetry, tension, expansion, and balance.
The image is built from a gaze that amplifies and synthesizes the form. The wings expand to occupy the plane, fragmenting into fields of color that transform perception. The butterfly ceases to be a naturalistic motif and becomes a visual structure, where each plane responds to an internal logic.
The concept of axis runs through the work as an organizing principle. From this center, the shapes open, balance, and tense, generating a contained dynamic between stability and movement. The symmetry is not exact, but active, constructed from the dialogue between parts.
Color acts as structure and energy. The tones are articulated in contrasts and transitions that delimit space and activate the composition. Each plane builds depth without recourse to illusion, reinforcing the painting’s physical presence.
In this work, the butterfly is understood as form and as system: a structure that is not represented, but constructed and sustained from its own internal balance.
Authenticity of the work:
Each work is hand-signed on the back of the canvas, guaranteeing its authenticity and preserving the visual purity of the pictorial surface. The signature includes the title of the work, the year of creation, and Ella Suárez’s signature. The piece is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), which validates its origin and authorship.
Clarification note:
Reference images may show slight tonal variations from the original work due to lighting in the spaces, which can affect contrast or color temperature, as well as differences between display devices. The photographs have been taken with the greatest possible care.
Shipping details:
The work will be shipped rolled in a protective tube, a method that guarantees its safety during transport and offers a more economical and sustainable option. The canvas includes an additional margin of 5 cm on each side to facilitate re-stretching, which can be done by the buyer or by a professional.
