N35X can be used with the SC35C cartridge.
Originally, the N35X was designed as a replacement stylus for the M35X cartridge. Still, it is physically compatible with the SC35C, and combining the two is a common customization to adjust sound quality and feel.
Physical Compatibility: The N35X replacement stylus can be directly attached to the SC35C body.
Stylus Pressure:
SC35C (SS35C stylus) has a very heavy stylus pressure of 4.0-5.0g.
When using the N35X, it is generally recommended to use a lighter stylus pressure of around 1.5-3.0g to match the stylus's specifications.
Effect on Sound Quality:
Compared to the SC35C's inherently powerful and low-centered sound, the N35X tends to produce a wider range and more delicate (more Hi-Fi-like) sound.
It is a popular option for improving sound quality for listening purposes while taking advantage of the tough SC35C body used in broadcasting and DJ applications.
