An authentic Ottoman Empire silver coin struck during the reign of Sultan Mahmud II (1808–1839). The coin features the Sultan’s elegant tughra (imperial calligraphic monogram) surrounded by a decorative floral wreath. The reverse displays the Arabic inscription with the accession date AH 1223 and the mint inscription for Constantinople (Kostantiniyye) within a matching ornamental border.
