Born in Murano in 1934, he was from the outset irresistibly drawn to the Murano Crystal. He founded Carlo Moretti with his brother Giovanni in 1958, where he mainly handled the design and production of the company’s objects. In the 1980s he led the creation of various consortia on the island of Murano. He received several international awards and recognitions and was invited to give lectures on his work at cultural and arts institutions around the world.
