French Rococo-Style Ornamental Table Lamp with Fabric Shade, 1950

An ornate decorative table lamp in the French Rococo style, featuring a richly modelled metal base with scrolling foliage, openwork leaf details and a twisted central column. The warm antique-gold finish and shaped textile shade create a formal, atmospheric light suited to classic interiors, reading rooms or decorative console displays.

The lamp is in presentable vintage condition with age-related surface wear and patination. The shade shows minor visible wear and localised damage, including a small area along one panel seam. The electrical cable appears to have been replaced at a later date.
