Description from the seller

A beautiful object for audiophiles. It is from 2007 and works perfectly. It delivers exceptional sound for a good home cinema or musical experience. It is a high-current capable amplifier, meaning it can drive demanding speakers and maintain sound presence at any volume. Both remotes and the manual are included with the amp. Several options let you enjoy surround sound. You can route the sound through an optical input, enable LOGIC 7 (the equivalent of Pro Logic IIx but better), or use the RCA analog inputs. The HDMI outputs do not carry compressed surround formats (Dolby Digital, DTS) but only 2.0 PCM.

LOGIC 7
Active matrix decoding system developed by Lexicon and used in many Harman products, capable of converting two-channel signals into five- or seven-channel signals. This system offers optimized modes for video and music tracks and a traditional stereo music recording function. It was specifically designed for recording studios characterized by a powerful front end, while projecting sounds beyond the room walls. A car version of this system exists to handle the unique listening conditions inside vehicles. See Encoder/decoder Matrix

High Current Capability (HCC)
The number of watts per channel is an incomplete measure of an amplifier’s power. In terms of dynamics and impact, it’s the current that counts. The HCC design approach encompasses everything from transformer size and capacitor size to discrete output circuitry and minimal negative feedback. This electronic system, comparable to a high-displacement, high-torque racing engine, yields audible results. You get a magnificent transient response, tighter bass articulation, and greater presence, at any volume.

AUDIO
Stereo mode continuous average power (FTC) per channel:
80 W (20 Hz - 20 kHz, < 0.07% THD, 2 channels driven at 8 ohms)
6-channel surround modes, Power per channel:
Front Left and Right Channels: 65 W (< 0.07% THD, 20 Hz - 20 kHz at 8 ohms)
Center Channel: 65 W (< 0.07% THD, 20 Hz - 20 kHz at 8 ohms)
Surround Channels (side D & G, rear): 65 W (< 0.07% THD, 20 Hz - 20 kHz at 8 ohms)
Input Sensitivity / Linear Impedance (high level): 200 mV / 47 kΩ
Signal-to-Noise Ratio (IHF-A): 100 dB
Separation of adjacent channels in the surround system:
Dolby Pro Logic I and II: 40 dB
Dolby Digital: 55 dB
DTS (Digital Theater System): 55 dB
Frequency response at 1 W (0 dB, -3 dB): 10 Hz - 130 kHz
High-frequency transient current capability: ±40 A
Slew rate: 40 V/µs

Connectivity
8 inputs, 2 digital audio outputs
[6 inputs on the rear panel (3 optical, 3 coaxial), 2 inputs on the front panel (optical, coaxial selectable as output), 2 outputs on the rear panel (optical, coaxial)]
5 composite/S-Video audio/video inputs (V1, V2, V3, V4, DVD) 2 analog audio inputs (CD, TAPE)
Independent 7.1-channel audio inputs (8 Channel Direct Inputs)
7.1-channel Pre-out audio outputs
Front panel, duplicated Composite/S-Vid and switchable to output (V4)
RS-232 port
1 dock connector for iPod cradle "The Bridge"

Settings
- EzSet EQ II Parametric Equalization: the EzSet EQ II system takes room volume and design into account to automatically adjust levels, delays, speaker size and crossover frequencies for the speakers and two subwoofers.
- Quadruple Bass Manager Crossover
Allows configuring different bass crossover frequencies depending on the speakers used: group 1: front left and right speakers, group 2: center speaker, group 3: surround speakers (SR, SL), group 4: surround back (SBR, SBL).
- Digital Bass Management
Allows analog-to-digital conversion of signals arriving at the "8CH direct input" and offers the ability to precisely adjust AVR settings depending on speaker type used (Small / Large).
- Subwoofer crossover frequency: 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, and 200 Hz.
- Multi-room audio and built-in multi-zone amplification: allows linking an additional amplifier to drive audio in another room. In a 5.1 setup, the two surround back channels (SBR and SBL) can be routed to the multi-room zone and amplified directly by the AVR.
- A-Bus Ready / RS232: the A-Bus function enables remote control of the amplifier from a directly amplified keyboard and patented A-Bus. The RS232 port allows control of the amp via premium home automation systems, as well as performing software updates.

Power supply: AC 220-240 V / 50 Hz
Power consumption: 120 W in standby, 1025 W maximum (7 channels driven)
