Philips - Hanging lamp - Opaline glass

Exceptional and authentic ceiling light produced by the famous Dutch company Philips, from their historic high-end range "Philihome".

This luminaire features a modernist, streamlined design, straddling late Art Deco and mid-century functionalism. A piece of character ideal to bring a retro chic, industrial or Bauhaus touch to your interior.

Design & Materials
The globe: Superb stepped diffuser (tiers) in opal white blown glass. It provides very soft, warm, and glare-free light diffusion.

The mounting: Rigid stem and original metal ceiling canopy with a beautiful satin gray patina from the period. The metal mounting bracket is complete and equipped with its original butterfly screw.

Marking and Authenticity
A rare piece to find in this state of mechanical conservation: the original stamp is perfectly legible and silkscreened in gray on the upper neck of the glass: “PHILIPS PHILIHOME W.A. 60 W.
