Sakura agate sphere, characterized by a compact texture of micro-nodules of chalcedony in peach, coral and lavender hues, traversed by thin milky bands and small crystallized cavities. On the surface, botryoidal zones and micro-translucent veins are evident, testifying to episodic growth inside siliceous volcanic cavities, where silica-rich solutions progressively filled microfractures and pores, consolidating over time the flower-like structure typical of this variety. The “petal” effect arises from the combination of chalcedony, ferruginous inclusions, and rhythmic deposition phases: each nucleus, each shaded edge, tells a distinct geological cycle, with chemical and thermal variations that have endowed the delicate pink palette associated with this agate. In some areas the surface reveals minute internal druses, a natural brilliance not common in the more compact and sought-after pieces. It is increasingly difficult to obtain material with such a density of nodules, uniform colors, and clear transitions between siliceous bands and more massive zones.
