Elegant table lamp in gilded bronze in Louis XV / Rocaille style, presenting a very beautiful decorative quality.

The richly worked bronze base is adorned with motifs typical of the Rocaille repertoire: volutes, shells, foliage and floral ornaments.
The shaped base, particularly worked, gives the whole a lovely presence.

The lamp is topped with an antique pleated fabric lampshade in ivory/cream, richly decorated on its lower part with passementerie, gilded braids, brocaded fabric and satin-ribbon hems.
When illuminated, it emits a soft and warm light.

The whole shows a beautiful antique patina, with some wear and small marks of time visible in the photographs.
The lampshade also shows some signs of antiquity that contribute to its charm.
