Richard Ginori - Plate - strong brick

Set of plates from the famous vintage Diamondstone Laveno 1826 line produced by the historic Italian manufacturer Richard Ginori in the 1960s. These are ceramic pieces decorated with the transferware technique (underglaze transfer printing) in a rich cobalt blue on a white background: Each plate depicts a detailed romantic landscape scene of classical or lakeside style, characterized by mountain ranges in the background, small rural villages, bridges, etc. The rim is richly adorned with an elaborate and dense continuous floral garland that frames the central vignette. The set consists of: 5 flat plates about 25 cm in diameter; 9 deep plates about 24 cm in diameter. This collection of plates unites the firms S.C.I Laveno and Richard Ginori, with a special Richard decoration realized in the early 1800s with the strong earthenware produced by Laveno. Excellent condition with minimal signs of age and use. See photos for the conditions and measurements of all pieces. I do not ship outside the European Community.
