Description from the seller
Royal Copenhagen – White Plain 143/143 – Modernist porcelain teapot with stainless steel handle
A distinctive modernist teapot from the White Plain series by Royal Copenhagen, made in glossy white porcelain and equipped with a tall, elegantly curved handle of polished stainless steel.
The design stands out for its low, organic shape, the elongated integrated spout, and the flat, top-sunk lid. The sculptural stainless steel handle gives the teapot a distinctly contemporary and minimalist look. The combination of bright white porcelain and glossy metal fits perfectly within a modern Scandinavian, minimalist, or Japandi interior.
Both the teapot and the accompanying lid bear the original blue Royal Copenhagen factory mark with crown and the characteristic three wavy lines.
The separate model numbers confirm that both parts originally belong together:
* Teapot: model number 143
* Lid: model number 143
The complete version is therefore registered as Royal Copenhagen White Plain 143/143. This model belongs to Royal Copenhagen's modern production period and was probably manufactured in the 2000s–2010s.
Dimensions:
* Length: 25 cm
* Height including handle: 16.5 cm
Weight: 896 grams
The teapot is in a nice, well-preserved condition. The porcelain is clear and glossy, and the striking metal handle forms a beautiful contrast with the flowing white form. Please view the photos carefully; they form an important part of the description.
A functional household item and a remarkable sculptural design object for enthusiasts and collectors of Royal Copenhagen and modern Scandinavian design.
This item is carefully and securely packaged and shipped with smart shipping, registered and insured, with tracking.
