Murano glass vase. It stands out for its refined shape and distinctive decorative technique. The object is mouth-blown and made of transparent glass in which blue glass threads and white satin threads are incorporated in a spiral pattern. This fine interweaving of lines creates a vibrant optical effect typical of traditional Venetian glassmaking, such as filigree or reticello glass. Supplied with a matching stopper and plate. The outer edge of the plate, the neck ring, and the top disk of the stopper are finished with applied gold leaf. Function and form: designed as a decorative item for the vanity/bath, typically used for perfumes, bath oils, or as a decorative piece on a dressing table. Probably the work of Giuliano Ballarin from the 1970s. Measurements: Bottle: height 20.5 x diameter 10.8 cm – plate: diameter 18.8 cm.
