AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The marble slab is unfortunately broken, ever since I’ve known the table.
It stood in my grandfather's parlor, showing slight signs of wear.

Valentino Besarel (1829-1902) was a Venetian furniture maker who was patronised during the second half of the 19th century by the Royal Houses in Europe. Many of his creations were in the style of Andrea Brustoloni (1662-1732).
