Antique jewelry box / reliquary (also known as Pilgrim Box) in a pronounced Neo-Gothic style. This rare collectible exudes the atmosphere of the early Middle Ages and was crafted in 19th-century England. The box is made of heavy metal (possibly tin or pewter) and features a splendid, authentic silver-colored finish with a deeply patinated contrast. Around the box and on the hinged lid are masterfully detailed religious depictions and figural scenes in relief. The Gothic pointed arches and architectural elements frame the figures in a theatrical manner.

Antieke sieradendoos / reliekschrijn (ook bekend als Pilgrim Box) in een uitgesproken Neo-Gotische stijl. Dit zeldzame verzamelobject ademt de sfeer van de vroege middeleeuwen uit en is vervaardigd in het Engeland van de 19e eeuw.Het kistje is gemaakt van zwaar metaal (mogelijk tin of witmetaal) en is voorzien van een schitterende, authentieke zilverkleurige afwerking met een diep gepatineerd contrast. Rondom de doos en op het scharnierende deksel bevinden zich meesterlijk gedetailleerde religieuze voorstellingen en figurale scènes in reliëf. De gotische spitsbogen en architecturale elementen omlijsten de figuren op een theatrale wijze.
