P.P. Limoges - Table service for 12 (12) - Porcelain

Coffee service or moka set: 12 cups, 5 cm high; 12 saucers, 11 cm in diameter; 2 cm high; spoons, 10 cm in length (a rare item, often lost or damaged); stamp from the manufacturer or porcelain publisher 'P.P.' for Pierre Pastaud, a renowned porcelain art maker and decorator from Limoges active in the 20th century. A rich Empire-style decoration on porcelain with a cobalt blue background (Sèvres blue, fired) enhanced by superb fine gold gilding.
