Antique 18th-century single-hand lantern clock, dating from 1730–1740
A particularly beautiful French lantern clock from 1725–1750, Avignon region.
Completely original. Going work with anchor escapement, iron pendulum with brass bob, running about 24 hours.
Half-hour strike with a stop-disc on a bronze bell.
Iron lighters, anchor, pendulum suspension, bell hammer and bell support.
Early bronze casting with a forward-looking cock and in a medallion a portrait of a young Louis XV,
The movement housing is brass, with a bronze casting.
