Description from the seller

Glazed ceramic tile representing "El Diablo" (The Devil of Timanfaya), the emblematic motif created by César Manrique in 1968 for Timanfaya National Park and the El Diablo restaurant in Lanzarote, now the official symbol of the park and the artist's work on the island.

Relief decorative panel with glaze, red and black tones on a white background, depicting the stylized figure of the little devil holding a five-pointed pitchfork. Signature "Manrique" and date "68" integrated into the glazed decor. Original black frame.

This is a ceramic edition piece reproducing the original motif drawn by César Manrique, and not a work painted by the artist himself.

Overall condition: Like new, never mounted/used. Glaze immaculate, no cracks or chips, frame in perfect condition.

Origin: Piece acquired at the Fondation César Manrique shop (Fundación César Manrique), Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain.

Dimensions: 23.5 x 23.5 cm (frame included)

Shipping method: Careful shipment in Colissimo International (France/UE) with reinforced packaging adapted to fragile ceramic objects, substantial padding and tracking included. Delivery outside the EU (USA, Canada, Japan) via Chronopost.
