Description from the seller
Napoleon III Era Jewelry Box – Brass and Beveled Glass
Elegant Napoleon III era jewelry box, made of brass and richly decorated with scrolling leaves and finely worked botanical motifs.
The box features a rectangular shape with rounded corners, edged by delicate beaded borders, and rests on four small ball feet. The lid is adorned with a beveled clear glass, revealing the interior of the box.
The interior has preserved its original red/burgundy velvet cushion, tufted and compartmentalized by several small cushions, intended for the presentation and protection of the jewelry.
