AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This variant of the Frisian tail clock is known among connoisseurs as "Schippersklokje" and is not often offered because few have been made.

This skipper's clock was made in the period 1970 - 1980.

The wooden case is, aside from a few small signs of use, in pristine condition. On the cabinet sits an atlas flanked by a pair of angels. They stand on so-called chimneys. The rosette is missing from the right angel. On the sides there are tinted panes.

The door at the front has, on the left and right, half-pilasters with copper capitals and bases. The door latch is shaped like a horse's head.

The movement has undergone a small maintenance. During this, the oil holes of the movement were cleaned and re-oiled. The clock functions excellently. Every half hour a bell is struck.

The clock can be picked up in Almere. Shipping is carried out carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
