The blade with polished decorative engravings on the back of the handle, together with the famous Laguiole bee. Also, the shepherd’s cross is on the handle. This is the emblem against which shepherds on their long treks across the land could pray for their meal, with the knife stuck in the bread. The French shepherds often enjoyed wine, and as a result versions with a corkscrew were made, of which this is one.

Laguiole
The famous knife from France is originally a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a small French village. Designed with the origin of a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a local French dagger called capuchadou.
