Beautiful, very unique pair of Mosasaurus teeth on display

These remarkable teeth come from a Mosasaurus, a dinosaur that lived 72 to 75 million years ago.

The Mosasaurus was a sea lizard that lived in the oceans and ruled; the species occurred worldwide and could grow up to 20 meters long. Mosasaurs went extinct when 66 million years ago a gigantic meteorite struck the Earth.

It was a very active predator with good eyesight. The skull and jaws were solidly built, and capable of swallowing almost any other animal or reptile.
