Description from the seller
Dutch crystal sugar pot with silver knob – .833 silver, ca. 1920
An elegant Dutch crystal sugar pot from around 1920, crafted in clear crystal with a classic diamond-cut pattern. The sugar pot features a matching lid, crowned with a handsome silver knob of .833 silver.
The crystal is carefully and deeply cut all around in a geometric diamond pattern. The many facets create a beautiful refraction and sparkle, allowing the clarity and quality of the crystal to come to the fore.
The lid is accented by the silver knob, made in .833 silver, a commonly used Dutch silver content. The combination of transparent, cut crystal and the shiny silver gives the whole piece a classic and luxurious appearance.
