With this new work I continue my exploration of the seascape from abstraction, starting from the light and atmosphere of the Mediterranean. In Mar No.136 I work on the relationships between color, texture and space to create a balanced and luminous composition, where chromatic transitions suggest depth and movement without depicting a specific place.

Painted entirely by hand with acrylic on canvas, this is a contemporary, unique and original work, belonging to my Mar Series, in which I explore different interpretations of the sea through color and perception.

• "Mar No.136" is a contemporary, unique and original abstract work, made entirely by hand with professional acrylic on cotton canvas.

• Dimensions of the work: 81 cm × 100 cm.

• Created directly in my studio.

• Canvas size:
The canvas measures approximately 90 cm × 110 cm, including the margin needed for its new mounting on a frame of 81 cm × 100 cm × 2 cm (approximately).

• Finish and protection: The work is protected with a professional satin varnish, which preserves color intensity and ensures its preservation over time.

• Unique and original work: Painted entirely by hand, signed and dated on the reverse by artist Gaby Acevedo, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Presentation:

• The work has been created on a canvas previously stretched on a frame. To ensure safe transport, it is carefully shipped rolled in a high-strength rigid tube.
The edges are painted as a continuation of the composition and the canvas preserves the necessary margin for its new mounting on a frame.

• The work does not include a frame or decorative surround.

• For an optimal finish, it is recommended that the mounting be carried out by a professional.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have developed an artistic practice centered on contemporary abstract painting, where color, matter and collage are the pillars of my visual language.
My work arises from observation and dialogue with landscapes, the spaces we inhabit and the traces they leave on our memory. Each series responds to a different research, but all share the purpose of transforming experience into a visual language open to emotion and free interpretation.
Each work is unique and is made entirely by hand in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
