Description from the seller
Created to mark the 150th anniversary of Château de Montifaud, this 150th Anniversary Cognac is a magnificent blend spanning six generations of Cognac production. Released as a limited edition, 1,866 bottles were produced to commemorate the Cognac house's founding year, 1866. The oldest Cognac in the blend dates back to 1850 and the youngest to 2005; together, they represent the six generations of the Vallet family who have dedicated their lives and expertise to crafting Cognac in the heart of the Grande Champagne and Petit Champagne terroirs.
Featuring eaux-de-vie aged for over 100 years in the blend, the Château de Montifaud 150th Anniversary Cognac is an undeniably unique *eau-de-vie* that appeals to both keen Cognac connoisseurs and passionate aficionados.
Given the chalky soil and prominent limestone found in the Grande Champagne region, high-quality *eaux-de-vie* are expected from Cognac houses like Château de Montifaud, and this *hors d'âge* limited-edition Cognac certainly does not disappoint.
Bottle Presentation
The bottle is presented in a cage-like box that symbolizes the metal gates of Château de Montifaud’s "Paradise" cellar. Each specially designed bottle features a handmade wax seal and a numbered certificate, marking it as a truly unique Cognac collector's item.
