Description from the seller
19 flat lead figures, unpainted, original from the 1950s.
Various manufacturers marked on the foot:
- JF (Johannes Frauendorf) majority of the figures
- Thiele
A few riders are additionally labeled with well-known leaders "Friedrich III" "Schill".
JF is most likely short for Johannes Frauendorf (1889–1961), one of the best-known German engravers and manufacturers of flat lead figures. He signed many of his models with “J.F.” or “JF.” Frauendorf initially worked in Leipzig, later in Uebigau, and specialized mainly in military-historical figures (Napoleonic Wars, Prussia, Franco-Prussian War 1870/71, among others).
The figures would probably belong to the following armies:
- Brandenburg cuirassier or dragoon regiment
- Prussian cavalry
- French cavalry
- Russian cavalry

Width: 1 cm – 6 cm
