Collection lot of 6 vintage souvenir spoons – ALL MADE OF SOLID SILVER (chemically tested)
Description:
A rare and special collection of 6 vintage souvenir spoons (collectible) is offered for sale, decorated with heraldic coats of arms and superb details in colored enamel. All 6 pieces are made of solid silver, being checked microscopically and chemically tested with professional reagent (all gave the specific red-cherry reaction without exception).
Technical details of the lot (from left to right):
Amsterdam (Netherlands) – Special model with the historical coat of arms and the imperial crown. Material: Solid silver title 833. It bears the complete set of Dutch state hallmarks (guarantee sword, Minerva's head, GHO workshop mark and annual letter).
Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Handle decorated with blue-white geometric enamel and the city coat of arms. Material: Solid high purity silver title 915 (officially marked with the Spanish import/guarantee star).
Ourense (Spain, Galicia) – Cast handle with asymmetrical vegetal motifs and the city’s coat of arms with the medieval bridge. Material: Solid high purity silver title 915 (Plata de Primera Ley).
Pontevedra (Spain, Galicia) – Elegant twisted handle and detailed enameled coat of arms. Material: Solid high purity silver title 915 (officially marked on the cup with the 5-pointed Spanish star).
Turkey (Türkiye) – Decorated with the crescent moon and star on red enamel. Material: Solid silver title 800 (visible marked on the back of the cup).
São Paulo (Brazil) – Exotic vintage piece with a round cup, decorated with the Brazilian state flag. Material: Solid silver (workshop marked on the handle in square cartridges, acid tested positive [stonemania.ro]).
Condition and fine details:
The pieces are in very good vintage condition, with an elegant natural patina that emphasizes their age.
The enamel is completely intact on all 6 pieces, without chips, cracks or faded colors.
The reagent was washed immediately after testing, the metal being perfectly protected and cleaned.
