Pair of small copper dishes, one enameled – early 20th century
Beautiful matching pair of two small shallow copper dishes/pans, antique craftsmanship, dating probably from the early 20th century, around 1900–1920.
Both pieces have a copper body, with one having a tin-lined interior, as well as two brass side handles for easy handling.
Their low, flared shape could be suitable for both cooking and serving at the table. The two sizes are matched and show a beautiful old patina.
Dimensions and weight:
Large: diameter 20.5 cm – height 7.5 cm – weight 380 g
Small: diameter 17.8 cm – height 5 cm – weight 350 g
Total weight: 730 g
Condition: good antique condition, with patina and normal signs of use for old kitchenware. The tin-lined interior shows wear marks. Some irregularities and traces related to age and manufacturing are visible.
No hallmark or maker's mark identified.
A beautiful old set, decorative and authentic, of interest to lovers of antique copper, French cookware, and vintage kitchen items.
