The Konica S II (1961) is a well-made coupled-rangefinder camera from Konishiroku, one of Japan's oldest photographic firms. Its fast Hexanon 48mm f/2 lens has long been admired for sharpness and pleasing rendering, and the camera is operated manually with a selenium meter providing the reading. Solid, satisfying to handle and entirely battery-free for shooting.
