Antique silver T-handle corkscrew with detachable protective sleeve – France – circa 1900
Special antique T-shaped travel corkscrew made of silver, presumably of French origin and dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.
The corkscrew features a handsome classic T-handle and a detachable cylindrical protective sleeve. After unscrewing, the original steel spiral is revealed. The sleeve protects the spiral when the corkscrew is carried or stored.
On the silver part there is a small hallmark. The mark appears to correspond to a French silver hallmark for small silver objects. The hallmark is clearly photographed and shown for assessment.
