Sebastiano Plutino (Reggio Calabria, June 20, 1973) is an Italian painter and contemporary artist. After studying at the Liceo Artistico “Mattia Preti” in Reggio Calabria, he dedicates himself entirely to painting, developing a personal stylistic signature that fuses figurative and informal elements. His work is characterized by a particular sensitivity toward the sea, nature, and the Mediterranean culture: his “seascapes” evoke meditative atmospheres, often dominated by bright skies, wide horizons, and ever-changing waters, in a painting that conveys mood and introspection.

Alongside seascapes, Plutino creates portraits—often of female figures—and informal landscapes, using oils, enamels, and acrylics on panel or MDF, with decisive brushstrokes and dense, meaningful color stratifications. His career includes numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad: his works have been exhibited in galleries such as Galleria ArteToma (Reggio Calabria), OnArt Gallery (Florence), Galleria Serraino (Reggio Calabria) and in events such as ArtePadova and PaviArt.
