The characteristic organically shaped seat shell made of brown plastic in combination with the chrome-plated round-tube frame is typical of German plastic design of the 1970s and stylistically reminiscent of the Space Age and Mid-Century design of that era. The seating surface is padded and covered in faux leather. The chairs are in an age-appropriate vintage condition with corresponding signs of wear. The plastic shell shows the light traces typical for its age; the chrome frame also shows age-related wear. In one chair the tubular frame is slightly warped. This does not affect seating comfort.
