Original 5-seat block from cinema/theater room of SMI (Società Metallurgica Italiana). Classic period structure, very robust, designed for intensive use.
The seats are made of laminated wood with a glossy finish that highlights the grain. The legs are black metal, simple and functional. The seats are of the folding type (they close by themselves when not occupied).
Conditions (Read carefully):
The chairs are used and kept in their original state. They have not been restored to new, so they show all the signs of their history:
Wood: Scratches, small chips and signs of wear scattered (especially on the edges and armrests). In one spot there is a small loss of the first wood layer (see detail photo).
Metal: The black paint on the legs shows tiny points of surface rust and scratches, but the structure is perfectly solid and stable.
Mechanical: The folding mechanism of the seats still works well on all four seats.
