Description from the seller
Large Frames
4 tiles 20 x 20 in black wood frame total
35 x 35 cm Ginevra collection Kiasmo
The series "Ginevra" composed of 18 subjects, represents a variant of the same theme. Namely the idea of creating portraits where expression, fashion and femininity become elusive, shifting elements, able to describe, in a poetic way, both the exteriority and the soul of the woman. "Ginevra" represents a series of faces that unfold like icons of style, but also as visions of the everyday; all these faces become a way to search for an indefinable beauty and femininity.
They arise from the use of ceramic tiles, framed with matte black wood, also black passe-partout, on which the drawings, signed by Vincenzo D’Alba, are applied, via silkscreen printing.
The 4 frames have been on display but are like new, without the original packaging, with label and stamped on the back Kiasmo. Shown in showroom
They are an unpublished lot of large frames not for sale on the website
