Two lounge chairs designed by Hans Eichenberger for Girsberger, model Typ 1600, in chromed flat steel and black leather with stitching, Germany, circa 1970–1980, in good used condition.
Description from the seller
2-piece set by Hans Eichenberger for Girsberger Eurochair “Type 1600” lounge chairs in chrome-plated flat steel and black leather with quilted seam, Germany 1970s.
Very comfortable to sit.
The FK Lounge embodies exactly this stance. The elegant, shell-shaped seating form combines purist design with superb comfort. The generous padding and soft leather ensure a relaxed seating experience, while the ergonomically shaped shell provides secure support. The iconic, three-legged swivel frame made of polished aluminum creates, through its delicate appearance, a light, almost floating aura – a hallmark of the designers.
Today, the FK Lounge is regarded as a modern classic that lends a distinctive touch to living rooms, reception areas, or high-end office lounges. It unites Walter Knoll’s craftsmanship with the design heritage of two notable designers—and offers design enthusiasts a piece of furniture with genuine history and lasting value.

We are nonetheless always striving to capture the condition of the objects as accurately as possible, to the best of our knowledge.
The goods are subject to the margin scheme under § 25a UStG; value-added tax is not shown on the invoice.
