Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Vintage mid‑century dining chair by German maker Hiller, featuring a chrome tubular frame, a molded plywood backrest and a dark synthetic leather seat, 84 cm high, 41 cm wide, 39 cm deep with a seating height of 45 cm, dating from 1970–1980, in fair condition with heavy use and possible missing small parts.
Description from the seller
Beautiful and authentic vintage dining chair, presumably from the well-known German manufacturer Hiller, dating from the 1970s. This chair combines a sleek, industrial chrome-plated tubular frame with an organically shaped plywood backrest. The seat is upholstered with the original dark faux leather (skai), which provides a comfortable sit and a characteristic mid-century look.
Underneath the seat lies the original, authentic "M.D." control stamp and handwritten production numbers (232 / 0115). This confirms the provenance and originality of this piece, which at the time was most likely produced for a high-quality interior or government project.
Condition: In good vintage condition with normal, age-appropriate signs of wear on the chrome and woodwork. (Small edge blemishes. In my opinion not distracting, the skai of the seat is in neat condition. See the detail photos for a full impression of the markings and materials.
