AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Smiths Enfield Vintage Bakelite Mantel Clock – Made in Great Britain

A beautiful vintage Smiths Enfield mechanical mantel clock, made in Great Britain, with an elegant dark brown Bakelite case.

This clock belonged to my grandmother and has been in our family for many years. It was carefully stored in the attic for more than 30 years, which explains its remarkably clean and well-preserved condition.

The clock is in very good cosmetic condition for its age. The Bakelite case, dial, hands and internal mechanical movement are all remarkably clean and appear well preserved. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.

The rear door opens to reveal the mechanical movement, pendulum and coiled gong.

Condition and operation:
To the best of my knowledge, the clock is complete and in working condition. However, because this is a vintage mechanical clock and its mechanism may require adjustment after transportation, it is being sold as-is, without guarantee of continued operation after shipping. A mechanical clock can sometimes require levelling, regulation or adjustment after being moved.
