Antique Florentine-looking dressing mirror from the mid-19th century in gilded wood, consisting of two distinct parts.

Important Florentine mirror dating to the mid-19th century, crafted in fine precious wood, finely carved and enriched with rich gold leaf gilding. The frame features an elegant rectangular perimeter, enhanced along the edge by elaborate pierced carvings with scrolls, foliate, floral, and ornamental motifs. The upper part is dominated by a imposing carved crest, characterized at the center by a decorative face inserted within a shell-like composition, surrounded by wide volutes and topped by a refined vegetal motif. The lower corners and sides are further embellished with carved elements that give great movement and richness to the whole. The gilding preserves the charm and natural signs of time, visible also on the carved surface, contributing to the authentic and decorative character of the mirror.
