Description from the seller
striking natural Diopside mineral specimen from Badakhshan, Afghanistan, featuring a prominent larger parent crystal on the front of a contrasting marble matrix.
The main Diopside crystal displays a natural termination with attractive translucent to opaque green coloration, while the surrounding marble matrix is extensively covered with numerous smaller Diopside crystals. This creates a richly crystallized, three-dimensional specimen with excellent natural character and visual depth.
The large front crystal stands out clearly from the matrix and is accompanied by an impressive cluster of smaller crystals distributed across the surface. The specimen is presented in its natural, unpolished condition and shows the characteristic textures and growth features of natural mineral formation.
