Asbach Uralt brandy, 3 bottles in the lot, each 1 litre (100 cl) with 40% ABV, bottled in the 1960s–1970s in Germany and bearing the original NAAFI label.
Description from the seller
Asbach Uralt is a brandy produced in the Rüdesheim region of Germany.
This brandy was highly popular, particularly among British forces stationed in Germany during the Cold War.
It was even bottled specifically for the NAAFI (Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes) in 1-liter or 3-liter bottles; the bottles offered here are the 1-liter size.
The spirit gave rise to a mixed drink—specifically the combination with cola—devised by the British; this became very popular and remains so today among former military personnel and their families in Great Britain.
As the drink was intended exclusively for military personnel and their families, bottles bearing the "NAAFI" label have become highly sought-after collector's items at international (whisky) auctions.
The three bottles offered here feature this original label, remain completely full ("high fill"), and have their capsules, seals, closures, and labels fully intact. The applied rose emblem is present and undamaged.
