Offered here is a finely well-preserved ancient Egyptian funerary shabti dating to the Third Intermediate Period of Egypt, a time spanning the 21st to 25th Dynasties. This remarkable piece reflects the deep religious traditions and funerary beliefs of ancient Egypt, where shabtis served as magical servant figures intended to assist the deceased in the afterlife.
