An extraordinary vintage chronograph with legendary Valjoux movement
For sale is an original vintage Heuer Camaro Chronograph, reference 7220, with the iconic three-register layout and the legendary hand-wound Valjoux 72.
The Camaro is among Heuer's most characteristic vintage chronographs, combining the sporty design of the late 1960s/early 1970s with one of the most renowned chronograph movements ever. In particular, the combination of the warm champagne dial, applied indices and the three contrasting subdials makes this watch an exceptionally attractive collector's piece.

The watch is in a very nice, authentic vintage condition and shows the charming signs of wear characteristic for a vintage watch of this era.
The dial is overall very well preserved. At around 3 o'clock there is a minimal discoloration, which underlines the vintage character without detracting from the attractive overall appearance.
The movement runs and the chronograph functions flawlessly. The watch only has a minimal running seconds delay that remains within what is completely normal for a vintage hand-wound movement.
A particular highlight is the high degree of authenticity: original crown, original pushers and original clasp are present.
