A set of 10 solid 950/1000 silver Louis XV style seafood forks from France, each about 14.5 cm long, 4 cm wide and 0.5 cm deep, with a total weight of 190 g, attributed to Georges Frédéric Amey with Minerva 1 hallmark, dating to 1910–1920, in good antique condition with minor signs of wear.

Elegant French silver seafood / shellfish fork set dating from the mid-19th century, featuring richly decorated Louis XV style handles. The set consists of 10 forks with refined detailing and harmonious overall appearance.
The forks are entirely made of solid 950/1000 silver, including the fork heads. Each piece bears the French Minerva 1 hallmark for 950 silver standard.
The maker’s mark “GA” with collar button device is attributed to the Parisian maître-orfèvre Georges Frédéric Amey (1819–1871). His mark was registered in Paris on 27 January 1851 at 26 rue Rambuteau and officially cancelled in 1856 (Arminjon II:1895).
The set beautifully reflects the refined elegance and high quality of 19th century French silverwork.
