This impressive fossil comes from a Mosasaurus, a gigantic marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous (about 70–66 million years ago), which could reach lengths of up to 20 meters.
With a remarkable skull length of over 43 cm, this specimen superbly showcases the characteristic features of one of the most fearsome apex predators of ancient seas.
The fossil preserves the finest anatomical details of the bone structure, including the sharp, conical teeth used for grasping and tearing prey, as well as the massive jaw that testifies to the animal's enormous bite force.
